Texas MicroCircuits (TMC) is proud to announce the TMC MP2 CNC USB Pendant and new Z-axis Touch-Off (ZTO) module This flexible unit is designed to allow concise control of CNC machines and is pre-configured to work with Mach3. The rugged extruded and anodized aluminum case fits comfortably in the hand and allows pretty much single handed operation. A variety of modes support all major operations. The mode selector switch specifies the functions of the three black pushbuttons. The auto centering joystick allows control of axis/spindle/feedrate override movement. Better still, the joystick knob can be depressed to switch between incremental, slow and fast movement of each axis with LEDs indicating the currently selected mode. The unit supports a failsafe mode that prevents accidental key presses from being sent to the CNC PC. When used with the popular Mach3 CNC Control software, user-written Mach3 macros can be activated by button presses on the pendant. Simple to install - just plug the pendant in to a spare USB socket on the PC that runs your Mach CNC software. The pendant firmware is upgradeable by the replacement of a single chip. As new features are implemented, you will have the option to upgrade your pendant. Click here for more photos, details on current and planned features. Texas MicroCircuits has years of experience in working with CNC equipment. The pendant has been designed by TMC engineers to meet the needs of a professional machine shop, but is also equally appropriate for use in hobby CNC environments. Bob Campbell of Campbell Designs is the current main distributor for the MP2.
